Tomlinson Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mary Leta Hadden, age 89, of Swainsboro, on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at her residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 9, at 2 p.m. at Hawhammock Missionary Baptist Church with Drone Hudson and Rev. Kim Jeans officiating, with special music from King’s Cross & Friends. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family receive friends Tuesday, September 8, at from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tomlinson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Tommy Hadden Jr., SSG Tyler Hays Jr., Justin Hadden, James Fowler, Cody Hopkins and Dakota Hays.
Mrs. Hadden is preceded in death by her biological parents, Nandora Kemp and Jake Curl; adoptive parents, Carolyn Boatright and Edward Boatright; husband, Melvin Hadden; and granddaughter, Stephanie Evans.
Mrs. Hadden is survived by her children, Tommy Hadden (Rachel), Jimmy Hadden (April), Johnny Hadden, Judy Mock and Kendall Hadden (Nikki); grandchildren, Tommy Hadden Jr. (Allison), Jennifer Tatum (Wesley), Justin Hadden (Shelby), Selina Ayala, Jake Fowler, James Fowler III (Susie) and McKenna Hopkins (Cody); step-grandchildren, Ivey Mock III (Tara), Kim Karnes (John), Tyler Barton and Jacob Barton; great-grandchildren, Henley Hadden, Hudson Hadden, Laney Tatum, Emily Tatum, Lilly Tatum, Harper Rae Hadden, Sinclair Hadden, Charli Hadden, JJ Evans, Michael Hays Jr., SSG Tyler Hays, Dakota Hays, Jonathon Suarez, Alex Suarez, Abbigail Fowler, Chip Fowler, Noah Hopkins, Jax Hopkins, Chase Hopkins, Briggs Boulineau and Mckynna Underwood; and great-great-grandchildren, Dustin Conrad, Ryder Tatum, Kameron Hays, Daisy Mae Smith and Maisy Rae Smith.
