Lawrence Hare, age 81, of Swainsboro, passed away Thursday, September 24, 202,6 at Emanuel County Nursing Home. Memorial service was held Sunday, September 27, at 2 p.m. at Dellwood Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Bedgood officiating.
Lawrence was born March 5, 1945, in Alabama. He was a truck driver for many years and an avid race fan. Lawrence enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, spending time outdoors, and going for walks. A devoted man of faith, he loved attending church and worshipping alongside his family. Mr. Hare is preceded in death by his mother, Lula Bell Turner Hare; and wife, Elizabeth Saunders Hare
Mr. Hare is survived by his sons, Wyman Hare (Lori) of Cleveland and stepson, Steve Roth (Tina) of Dover, Ohio; stepdaughter, Amy Blalock of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Logan Hare, Emma Hare, Amanda Blalock, Mason Blalock and Cheyenne Blalock; great-granddaughters, Jazzalyn Jackson and Abbigail Hernandez.
Chapman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
