According to the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office…

December 18

Deputy took a report regarding harassing texts being sent to complainant. C/p stated his sister has been sending threatening text messages to him and his fiancé stating she was go-ing to hit her in the face til she leaves and would hit him too. C/p stated they do not want anymore contact with offender.

December 19

Deputy responded to Victory Dr. in reference to property damage. Complainant advised he noticed a boom city trash truck was picking up debris from the ditch and scratched the hood of his vehicle. C/p stated he called the City Hall about the incident and was advised to re-port the incident.

Deputies responded to Red Bud Rd. in reference to a child custody dispute. Complainant advised she normally let her 11-year-old daughter go to her father’s/offender for the holi-days but the daughter has been acting out in school so she decided not to let her go with her father. C/p stated the father got upset and texted her that he was coming to get his daugh-ter anyway and that offender is not legitimized and refuses to allow the child to go with him. Deputies spoke with the grandmother on scene and she advised that whenever the two have a disagreement, c/p always uses the child against the father.
