Brett Lee Wright, age 25, of Nunez, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at his residence. Memorial service was held Saturday, November 18, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home. The family received friends Friday, November 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Brett was born December 19, 1997, in Statesboro, to Jerry Lee Vincent Tara Wright. He loved building computers and games. Brett was a history buff, enjoyed country and rock music, and fishing. He loved his family and his cat, Sassy. Mr. Wright is preceded in death by his father, Jerry (Christy); maternal grandparents, W. J. and Daisy Wright; paternal grandmother, Sherry Fullmore; aunt, Teresa Wright.

Mr. Wright is survived by his mother, Tara Wright of Nunez; brothers, Jared Vincent and Brandon Vincent, both of Adrian, Christopher Slauson and Eric Slauson, both of Roanoke, AL; sister, Briana Wright of Savannah; aunts, Debbie Harper (Willie), Deborah Jones, Tena Jenkins (Arthur), Ashley Rice, Summer Fullmore, Ginger Tipton and Tressie Fullmore; uncles, Kenneth Wright (Deborah), J.P. Wright (Eula), Charlie Wright (Nettie), Will Wright, James Wright, Jay Wright, Ervin Wright (Renae), Chris Vincent and Frank Fullmore.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
