Franklin Memorial Library is unveiling an exciting lineup of activities for the week of December 11 through December 16. Starting off the week, we have a special event for the brave individuals who have served our country. Our Veterans’ Breakfast will be held on December 11, at 9:15 a.m. This is an opportunity for our local heroes to enjoy a warm meal, share stories, and connect with fellow veterans. December 13 is all about food and fun! Join us for Deana’s Cooking Show, where you can learn to cook up a storm. Deana will be showcasing some exciting recipes that you can easily recreate at home. Roll up your sleeves, put on your apron, and let’s cook together! Please take note that the library will be temporarily closed from 12 to 2 p.m. on December 14. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We haven’t forgotten about our littlest patrons! December 15 is a Friday, like every Friday, we will have Toddler Time! This event will feature engaging stories and creative activities that will captivate the imaginations of our youngest library-goers. Finally, on December 16, we will honor our veterans once again, our Veterans, Mrs. Shair, and Ms. Windy will meet at the Swainsboro City Cemetery. This is a solemn occasion for reflection, remembrance, and respect. We encourage the community to join us in paying tribute to those who have served. Franklin Memorial Library is committed to serving our community through diverse programming. We look forward to welcoming you to these events. For more information about these events and future activities, please visit our Facebook Page or call the library directly.
