Mrs. Myrtle Joyce Braddy, 74, of Swainsboro, passed away, Friday, January 26, 2024, at Emanuel Medical Center. Funeral services were held Monday, January 29, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Roy Jarriel officiating. Interment followed in Hines Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 28, at Chapman Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Dylan Hall, Cody Hall, Corey Wilkerson, Sammy Braddy III, Camron Braddy and Kyle Jones. Mrs. Braddy was born February 11, 1949, in Statesboro, to the late M.C. Davis and Lucille Smith Davis. She was a hard-working woman. Mrs. Myrtle loves her family and taking care of her children. She was CNA and physical therapist. Mrs. Myrtle enjoyed collecting baby dolls and loved visiting with her family. Mrs. Braddy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sammy Braddy, Sr.; brothers, Anthony Martin, Charles Davis and Roger Davis; grandson, Caleb Wilkerson.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Hall (Jerry) of Kite; sons, Dale Wilkerson (Karen), Travis Wilkerson (Angie), Sammy Braddy, Jr. (Angel), all of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Cody Hall, Dylan Hall, Mandy Wilkerson (Kyle Jones), Corey Wilkerson, Caley Wilkerson, Rani Wilkerson, Kimberly Braddy, Sammy Braddy III, Camron Braddy and Anslee Braddy; sister, Doris Martin; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
