Mrs. Beverly K. Nary, 79, of Swainsboro, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Emanuel Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 2, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Don Hicks officiating. Interment followed in Swainsboro City Cemetery. The family received friends Monday, April 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Norman McCullough, Marty Hill, Kevin Horton, Quentin Horton, Scotty Helton and Christopher Cannon.

Mrs. Nary was born July 10, 1944, in Savannah, to the late Joseph Eugene Bazemore and Ruby Lynn Bazemore. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Freddy Flakes; and sister, Maria Bazemore Williams.

Mrs. Nary is survived by her husband, Tim Nary, Sr. of Swainsboro; sons, Jerry Frawley of East Dublin and Tim Nary, Jr (Dawn) of Eden; daughters, Jennifer Brown (Ronnie), Donna Sue Peebles (Thomas), both of Swainsboro, Anita McCullough (Norman) of Brooklet and Cynthia Leonardis (Dennis) of Statesboro; sisters, Judy Wilson (Willie) of Granbury, TX, Mavis Weaver of Knoxville, TN and Sara Ann Sanders of Meldrim; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
