ECI Track & Field Team sending a crowd to State

The ECI Track team competed in Sectionals this past weekend in Carrollton, and finished the weekend having the most Dawgs qualify for the State meet than ever before. The following Bulldogs have earned a top 16 ranking in their events and have punched their ticket to State:

Dayla Bethea – Long Jump, Ronee’ Swainrussell – Long Jump, Chase Johnson – Long Jump, Breely Felkel – Triple Jump, MJ Williams – Triple Jump, Makaleigh Handsom – Shot, Raelynn Felkel – Shot,

Jayna Kearson – Discus, Michaela Barquet – 100m and 300m hurdles, Jaden Handsom – 300m hurdles, MK Durden – 400m dash, Rashad Smith – 200m dash , Madison Walker, Dayla Bethea, Jayna Kearson, Michaela Barquet (Jayla Rhodes, MK Durden) – 4×100 relay, Madison Walker, Dayla Bethea, Derihanna Jones, Jayna Kearson (Jayla Rhodes, MK Durden, Michaela Barquet – Alts) – 4×200 Relay, MK Durden, Kayla Rhodes, Michaela Barquet, Jayna Kearson (Breely Felkel, Jayla Rhodes, Dayla Bethea – Alts) – 4×400 Relay, Daon Bethea, Carlo Salinas, Chase Johnson, Rashad Smith (Tyler Foreman, Jaden Handsom, CJ Roberson, Drew Handsom, Marquise Edmond – Alts) – 4×400 Relay.

The team will travel to Commerce this Thursday-Saturday, May 9-11, to compete in the State Finals.
