Termetrius Lyneil Gardner “Tiedy”, age 47, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin following a brief illness. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, May 19, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Philip Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Malachi Lockett presiding and Rev. Melvin Adams officiating. Interment followed in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

Termetrius was born March 24, 1977, to Dorothy A. Gardner and the late Bobby T. Gardner. He was an Emanuel County Schools graduate. As a diligent worker, Tiedy took pride in his work while employed at Wide Bore Mechanical in Dublin. He had many hobbies which included playing his bass guitar, collecting old cars and detailing cars.

Mr. Gardner leaves to cherish his memories with his loving mother of Swainsboro; wife, Donna Hackett of Swainsboro; sons, Tylondre Malik Gardner of Olathe, KS and Termetrius Lyneil Gardner, Jr. of Swainsboro; daughters, Jocelyn Boatright of Millen and Chalayshia Gardner (Robert) Jenkins of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Karter Jenkins, Ariyah Hunter and Gianna Hunter; sisters, Bridgette G. (Walter) Hall, Felicia Sanders, LaShanda Gardner and Chearica Gardner, all of Swainsboro and Mikeani (Alex) Parrish of Statesboro; brothers, Bobby D. Gardner and Michael Gardner, both of Swainsboro and Taureane (Ruth Abigail) Gardner of Memphis, TN; four stepchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
