Mt. Olivet Baptist Church near Garfield has planned Vacation Bible School for June 4-7 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night. Classes will include ages 0 – 19. The theme ‘Breaker Rock Beach, God’s Rock Solid Truth in a world of Shifting Sands’ will be reinforced throughout the week through Bible study, mission’s awareness, crafts, music and structured recreation time. Those attending will focus on the difference between God’s truth and plan for our lives versus the world’s, how everyone needs Jesus and should speak His truths in love. There will be a light meal each afternoon and a family celebration Friday afternoon.
