Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mr. Kenneth E. Brown, age 90, of Wadley, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at his residence. Funeral services were held Friday, July 19, at the Wadley Methodist Church with Rev. Chad Watkins officiating. Interment followed in the Wadley Cemetery. The family received friends Friday, July 19, at the Wadley Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Pallbearers were his grandchildren, Nicholas Brown, Kenny Brown, Davi McGowan, Jeff Brown, Ben Brown and Aaron McGowan. Honorary pallbearers were Wadley Methodist Men.

Mr. Brown was born in Emanuel County to the late Mack L. and Ruth Lamb Brown. He was a member of the Wadley Methodist Church and the Stonewall Lodge 98. Mr. Brown was United States Navy Veteran.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Shirley Brown; sons, Randy Brown and Jerry Brown; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Jim Brown

The family invites friends to make memorial contributions to the Wadley Methodist Church if they so desire.

Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
