The following occurred during the Emanuel County Superior Court July 2024 term:

Clifton Howard negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count possession of cocaine. He was fined $500 with 3 years probation, outpatient treatment; one count driving while license suspended with 12 months probation to run concurrent with count one; one count obstruction of an officer to run concurrent with count one and two; one count open container with a $25 fine; one count tag light requirements with a $25 fine to run concurrent with count one. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 3 years to be served on probation. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Sherry Brooks negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count aggravated assault. She was fined $50 with 20 years probation, enter and complete ITF. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 20 years to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody from 1/28/24 – 9/23/24. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Ashleigh Williams negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count financial transaction card fraud. She was fined $50 with 2 years probation. RSAT susp. for inpatient rehab; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count two. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 6 years to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Justin Williams negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count theft by taking. He was fined $50 with 10 years probation, enter and complete RSAT. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 10 years to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Nichole Martinez negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count possession of meth. She was fined $50 with 3 years probation, outpatient rehab; one count possession of dangerous drugs to run concurrent with count one. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 3 years to be served on probation. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Alvin York negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count trafficking meth. He was fined $50 with 30 years, 15 years to serve bal. prob.; five counts burglary in the 1st degree with 20 years, 10 years to serve to run concurrent with count one; two counts burglary in the 2nd degree with 5 years to serve to run concurrent with count one; one count theft by taking with 5 years to serve to run concurrent with count one; two counts possession of firearm by convicted felon with 10 years to serve to run concurrent with count one. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 30 years, with the first 15 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence. Upon service of 15 years, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Jesse Trujillo negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count theft by shoplifting with 10 years to serve. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 10 years. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian.

Jayjay Cody Pace negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count possession of firearm by first offender. He was fined $50 with 10 years probation. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 10 years to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody from 8/29/24 – 9/24/24. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Gilbert Daughtry negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count possession of cocaine with 2 years to serve. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 2 years. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian.

He was fined $50 with 1 year to serve; one count DUI with 12 months to serve to run consecutive with count one; one count operation of unregistered vehicle with 12 months to serve to run consecutive with count one; one count failure to maintain lane with 12 months to serve to run consecutive with count one; one count open container with 12 months to serve to run consecutive with count one; one count window tint violation with 12 months to serve to run consecutive with count one. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 2 years. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian.

Teddy Hardaway negotiated a guilty plea on one count Fleeing. He was fined $50 with 3 years to serve; one count obstruction with 12 months probation to run consecutive with count one; one count DUI with 12 months probation to run consecutive with count one and two; driving w/license suspended with 12 months probation to run concurrent with count three; one count improper headlights with $15 fine; one count open container with $25 fine; one count failure to wear safety belt with $15 fine. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 5 years, with the first 3 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Upon service of 3 years, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Charles Henry Hall negotiated a guilty plea on one count theft by taking. He was fined $50 with 5 years, 2 years to serve, bal. prob.; once count theft by taking with 5 years probation to run consecutive with count 3. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 10 years, with the first 2 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence. Upon service of 2 years, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.
