Mr. Teddy Woodrow McGee, 72, of Swainsboro, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 16, at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Reverend Josh Black, assisted by Reverend Kenny Brown. Interment will follow at Holton Chapel Advent Church Cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday, October 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

The pallbearers will be Kenny Brown, Nicholas Brown, John McGee, Larry Hall, Jeffrey Brown, Jr. and J.T. Justice.

Teddy was born February 10, 1952, in Swainsboro, to the late Woodrow McGee and Ruby Wilkes McGee. Mr. McGee is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Robin McGee; brothers, Roy McGee and Johnny McGee; and sister, Dot Rich.

Mr. McGee is survived by his son, Darren McGee (Meagan) of Swainsboro; daughter, Jennifer Canady (Lenny) of Canoochee; brother, Kenneth McGee (Dorothy) of Swainsboro; sister, Mildred Hooks (Donald) of Canoochee; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
