Gloria Marie Corley, age 73, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024. Funeral service was held Saturday, October 19, at 2 p.m. at Smith Grove Church.

Ms. Corley was born June 28, 1951, in Savannah, to the late Lucius Corley and Jessie B. Hampton Flowers. After graduating from Emanuel County High School in 1969, she continued her education at Swainsboro Technical College where she pursued a career in nursing and spent 30 years working at Twin View Health & Rehab before retiring. Gloria was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church of Swainsboro. She was by any means the most selfless person. Gloria took immense joy in offering advice to her nieces and being entertained by her grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her a “Mama Gloria”. Ms. Corley is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Tilda Tina Corley, Luretha Corley, John Willie Corley, Evelyn Summerset and Laverne Corley.

Ms. Corley leaves to cherish her memories with her devoted daughter, Kenyotta Riddles (Chad Marshall) of Swainsboro; grandsons, Rodriguez Patterson, Jahri Brown and Gary Brown II; granddaughter, Naveah Marshall; and great-grandchildren, Abrey Patterson, Kinex and Jakahzi Brown.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
