The Citizens Bank of Swainsboro opened their new Drive-Thru Branch on Monday, October 28. The office is located on 571 South Main Street, and many will remember it as the former Spivey State Bank Drive-Thru Branch. The branch office will offer extended banking hours and 24-Hour ATM service with deposit capabilities. Hours of operation will be Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 12p.m. Beginning November 2, the new branch will be the exclusive location for Saturday banking. The downtown office will no longer offer Saturday banking.

“Our commercial and consumer customer base continues to grow,” said CEO Milton Gray. “This branch will allow us to offer extended hours and provide an additional location to make it more convenient for customers to bank with us. Establishing a drive-thru branch on South Main Street has been in our strategic plan for the past few years, and we were fortunate to be able to acquire this popular location to serve our valued customers.”

Avery Williams will be the supervising teller for the new office with additional tellers supporting her as needed. “Avery is one of our best and most experienced tellers. She is excited and ready to provide prompt, professional, and quality banking services to our customers,” said Mr. Gray. “Our guiding principle has always been to provide quality, professional, and convenient banking services to our valued customers, and this new location will support these ideals.”
