Robins Financial Credit Union recently donated $15,000 to three non-profit organizations in Emanuel County through their Holiday Giving initiative. This year marked the credit union’s 70th anniversary, and to celebrate this momentous occasion, Robins Financial supported the community that has helped shape the organization to what it is today. In total, the credit union donated $275,000 to 70 non-profit organizations working in their communities. This donation supports a variety of local organizations dedicated to education, healthcare, hunger relief, and community development. Among the Emanuel County recipients are:

• Sunshine House Regional Children’s Advocacy Center

• Swainsboro Rotary Club

• Beacon of Hope Church of God The Lazarus Project

“As we continue to celebrate 70 years of service, it’s more important than ever to show our gratitude to the communities that have supported us,” shared Christina O’Brien, President and CEO of Robins Financial Credit Union. “Our Holiday Giving initiative reflects our core values of service and community, and we are honored to work alongside these amazing organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of others around us.”

Through this financial support, each organization can continue to address the specific needs of their area.

“These holidays particularly bring stress with the high costs of gas, food and everything children need,” stated Carol Donaldson, Executive Director of the Sunshine House Regional Children’s Advocacy Center. “This contribution from Robins Financial Credit Union will certainly enable us to meet the needs of the children and families we serve, and we are extremely grateful.”

Robins Financial is grateful for the opportunity to partner with so many inspiring organizations. These contributions are a testament to the credit union’s mission of building stronger, more resilient communities and they look forward to continuing this tradition of service for years to come.

Robins Financial Credit Union is a member-owned, financial cooperative committed to upholding its mission to be Member Focused. Financial Partners. Community Proud. Chartered in 1954 by a group of 13 Robins Air Force Base civilian and military personnel, the financial institution now serves more than 273,000 members across the state of Georgia and beyond.
