The following occurred during the Emanuel County Superior Court October 2024 term:

Sarah Ansley Hilliard, negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count financial transaction card fraud. She was fined $50 with 2 years probation; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one and two; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one – three; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one – four; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one – five; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one – six; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one – seven; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one – eight; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one – nine; one count financial transaction card fraud with 2 years probation to run consecutive with count one – ten. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 10 years to be served on probation. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Albert Ira Johnson, Jr. negotiated a guilty plea on one count possession of meth. He was fined $50 with 3 years probation subject to inpatient rehab; one count possession of drug related objects with 12 months probation to run concurrent with count one; one count driving with suspended registration with 12 months probation to run concurrent with count one and two. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 3 years to be served on probation. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Tyler Bedgood negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count possession of meth with 3 years to serve. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 3 years. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian.

Tyler Bedgood negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count aggravated battery. He was fined $500 with 20 years to serve; one count aggravated assault with 20 years probation to run consecutive with count one; one count aggravated assault with 20 years to serve to run concurrent with count one; one count aggravated assault with 20 years to serve to run concurrent with count one – three. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 40 years, with the first 20 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian. Upon service of 20 years, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Drew Brantley Goolsby negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count financial transaction card fraud. He was fined $50 with 3 years, serve 2 years. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 3 years, with the first 2 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody from as determined by the custodian. Upon service of 2 years, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Deborah Burrows negotiated a guilty plea on one count possession of cocaine. She was fined $50 with 3 years prob., subj. to outpatient rehab; one count possession of drug related object with 12 months probation to run concurrent with count one; one count failure to stop at stop sign with 12 months probation to run concurrent with count one and two. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 3 years to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody from 12/7/23. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Jody Lee Clifton negotiated a guilty plea on one count possession of meth. He was fined $50 with 15 years probation; one count possession of drug related object with 12 months probation to run concurrent with count one; one count suspended license with 12 months probation to run concurrent with count one; nol pros for defective windshield. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 15 years to be served on probation. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Mike Orin Stevenson negotiated a guilty plea on one count habitual violator with 10 years probation, sub. To inpatient treatment; one count DUI and was fined $1,000 with 12 months probation to run concurrent; one count driving while license revoked with 12 months probation to run concurrent; one count open container with 12 months probation to run concurrent. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 10 years to be served on probation. The above sentence may be served on probation provided the defendant shall comply with the Conditions of Probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.
