Young Bulldogs lose two games to Metter

The ECI Middle School baseball team lost both games they played against the Metter Tigers the last couple weeks. They lost to the Tigers in Metter on Wednesday, March 17, 13-6 and again at home against Metter on March 20, by a score of 12-6. Leading hitters in the first game against the Tigers were William Kennedy, 2-3, double with 2 RBI and Maddox Sherrod, 2-4 with an RBI. Jack Lee 1-3, 2 RBI, triple and Bently Collins 1-3, 1 RBI were the other Bulldogs getting hits. William Kennedy took the loss on the mound giving up 3 hits with one strike out in his one inning of work.

Hane Henry pitched and took the loss in the March 20th game against Metter giving up 7 hits with three strikeouts. Leading hitters during the game for the Bulldogs were William Kennedy 3-4 with a double and homerun, Hane Henry 2-3. Maddow Sherrod and Bentley Collins ended the day with 2 hits each and Jack Lee had 1 hit (HR).

The Bulldogs are currently 3-6 for the season and played Millen on Monday, and will face Metter for the third time this season on Thursday in Twin City with first pitch at 4:30 p.m.
