The ECI C-team baseball played Jenkins Co. last week, winning both games against the Eagles. They traveled to Millen on Monday and came away with a 14-3 win in 6 innings. Jake Marsh picked up the win for the Bulldogs giving up just 5 hits with two strikeouts. Leading hitter for the game were Bentley Collins, 3-5, (2) doubles and 5 RBI. Other multiple hit Bulldogs were William Kennedy 2 hits-2 RBI, Hane Henry 2 hits-1 RBI, Jake Marsh 2 hits-2 RBI, Brayden Telgen 2 hits and Tucker Bryant one hit with an RBI.

The Bulldogs hosted Jenkins Co. on Wednesday, defeating the Eagles in a close one 15-14. ECI had an uncharacteristically sloppy game defensively and were down 14-11 entering the bottom of the seventh. They put 4 runs on the board to walk off the 15-14 win against the Eagles. Hane Henry started the game for the Bulldogs pitching the first 2 innings giving up 6 hits and 10 runs. All the runs were unearned mostly due to Bulldog errors. William Kennedy pitched the next 4 innings giving up just 2 hits with 6 strikeouts. Maddox Sherrod closed out the game giving up no hits with 1 strikeout. Leading the offense during the game were Jack Lee 3 hits with a double, Maddox Sherrod 3 hits, 2 homeruns, 3 RBI, William Kennedy 2 hits, double, 3 RBI, Bentley Collins and Jake Marsh 2 hits each and Hane Henry had the walk off winning single, scoring 2 to win the game.

The Bulldogs are currently 5-6 overall with a 3-2 region record. They had a make-up game in Sylvania Monday against Screven Co. which will determine the region tie breaker.
