The Four Rivers Patriots Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting Thursday night, March 20, at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons at 7 p.m. With President Joel Keener presiding, they had 16 in attendance. After the invocation, President Keener led the Pledge to the U.S. Flag and the Pledge to the SAR. Dual member Dess Smith III then presented President Joel Keener the Brier Creek Battlefield chapter Flag Streamer. President Keener then inducted the newest member, Richard Doyle Waller, who was approved by the National Society on January 24, 2025. His Patriot is John Connell. President Keener then called on Dess Smith III to introduce our speaker for the evening, Compatriot Mike Lisenby. Mike is a retired lawyer and he and his wife Nancy live in Swainsboro. Mike talked about Colonial Revolution, Constitution and Periods of America.
