Mr. Don Enoch Braswell, age 80, of Swainsboro, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, after an extended illness. Memorial service was held Sunday, April 13, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home. Family received friends Sunday, April 13, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers were the SHS class of ‘63 and employees of Southeastern Technical college that Don worked closely with.

When Swainsboro Tech merged with Southeastern Tech, Don became Director of Facilities and Security, a position he held until his retirement in 2012. Mr. Braswell is preceded in death by his parents; son, Don Enoch Braswell, Jr.; and two brothers, Hugh Braswell and Ned Braswell.

Mr. Braswell is survived by his wife, Lucille Thompson Braswell of Swainsboro; his little buddy, Braylan Thompson of Swainsboro; son, Mark Braswell, daughter-in-law, Tea Lisa Braswell and grandson, Braydon Braswell, all of Statesboro; brother, Fred Braswell of Swainsboro; sister, Carol Berry (Jim) of Evans; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
