Sallie Mae Hill, age 62, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025. A Homegoing Celebration was held Saturday, April 19, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Sherrod and Pastor Jerry Armstrong officiating.

Sallie was born April 16, 1962, to the late Robert Williams, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Williams. In her early years of life, Sallie was a teacher at Home Sweet Home Daycare in Swainsboro and later became a stay-at-home wife. Sallie was united in holy matrimony to the late Gordon Hill of Midville. Mrs. Hill is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Johnnie Etta Starnes and Anna Roberts.

Mrs. Hill leaves her everlasting legacy to her daughter, Miracle Hill of Midville; sons, Tyson (Tammy) Williams and Demetrius (Kim B.) Hill, both of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Tyneisha Ricks, Tyson Corley, Tyson Wiliams, Jr., Gordon “DJ” Hill, Jr., Gracelyn Hill and Se’Nai Hill, all of Swainsboro; great-granddaughter, Milani Ricks; brothers, Robert Williams, Jr., Timothy Williams, Leartus (Shirlene) Williams, Freddie Williams and Willie (Chondra) Williams, all of Swainsboro; devoted cousin, Angela (Victor) Wilcher; special friends, Earnestine Gadson and Lids (Darrell) Oglesby; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
