Franklin Memorial Library is excited to announce our annual Spring Book Sale, April 22 – April 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. We have much more than just books being sold during this time; we will have an abundance of gently used items ready for a new home! It is $5.00 per bag for as many books and items you can carry!

Another thing the library offers is FREE notary services, although this service is free, we do have some requirements that must be met before we notarize any document(s). Please make sure you and all parties pertaining to the document(s) DO NOT sign anything until you are in the presence of one of our notaries. Please make sure all parties pertaining to the document are present and have an in-date government issued ID/driver’s license. Our notaries are not attorneys licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia, and they may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice. You do not have to make an appointment, but if you would like to know if one is available before coming, please give us a call at (478) 237-7791. We look forward to seeing you soon!
