Swainsboro City Council met Thursday, June 12, at 6 p.m. for a special called meeting regard-ing two discussion points. The meeting was called to order by the mayor and Councilman Roddrigus Foster delivered an invocation. After the Pledge of Allegiance, the first topic of dis-cussion was the recommendation from planning and zoning to approve the rezoning of Map/Parcel No. 095 059X, from C-8 general commercial to R-3 residential. Council approved the rezoning 5-0.
The council then approved the game room license application for Pop-A-Top Again located at 112 South Central Street to operate coin-operated machines.
