The Summer Reading Program is not over yet. We have more fun in store for June, not only are we encouraging literacy but artistic abilities as well. We currently have a coloring contest happening the entire month of June. This contest is for all ages and will need to be turned in no lat-er than June 30 with your name and active phone number for us to contact the winners. Once judged, each winner will be called by the number provided and asked to come to the library to receive their prize. The library will be closed June 19 in honor of Juneteenth but look for our table downtown at the Juneteenth Celebration; we will be giving out free books. Toddler Time will resume at 10:30 a.m. on June 20 and our Veterans Breakfast at 9:15 a.m. On Monday, June 23, we will have Twin City Craft time at the Welcome Center at 10:30 a.m. Our next and final performance of the SRP will be Storyteller Barry Stewart Mann for June 24 at 11 a.m., Adult Craft on June 25 at 10:30 a.m., SRP Color Party at 11 a.m. and Teen craft at 2:30 p.m. on June 26, then Toddler Time Friday, June 27, at 10:30 a.m. If you have questions or would like more information, please call or visit us at (478) 237-7791 or 331 West Main Street, Swainsboro.
