Derden speaks to Fall Line

The Fall Line Chapter Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held their monthly meeting Tuesday night, May 13, 7 p.m. at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce in Sandersville. With President Sandy Mercer presiding, they had six in attendance. President Sandy led the Pledge to the U.S. Flag and the Pledge to the Sons of the American Revolution, then said the prayer. President Sandy then asked Dess Smith to introduce the speaker, Com-patriot John Derden, who presented his program on the “Tour of Lafayette in Georgia, 1825”. President Sandy then called on Dess to present the Fall Line Chapter flag streamer of the Frederica Naval Battle event on April 19, where he presented the Chapter wreath.
