Lisenby speaks to Mill Creek

The Mill Creek Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, held its monthly meeting May 20, at the Old Timey Restaurant at 6 p.m. With President Randy Jones presiding, they had eight in attendance. After the invocation and Pledges to the U.S. Flag and the SAR, President Randy asked East Fall Line Region Vice President Dess Smith III to introduce the program presenter, Mike Lisenby, who is a retired lawyer and lives in Swainsboro. Mike talked about Colonial, Revolution, Constitutional Periods of the Revolutionary War. Dess then presented President Randy Jones with the Frederica Naval Battle event chapter flag Streamer for presenting the Chapter wreath at the battlefield.
