Bobby Emerson Dollar, age 77, of Wadley, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at his residence. Funeral Services were held Wednesday June 25, at 3 p.m. from Coleman Chapel Church with Rev. Bob Norwood officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Family received friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

Pallbearers were Kabe Bowen, Hank Dollar, Blake Dollar, Jacob Dixon, Daniel Dixon and Levi Dixon. Honorary pallbearers were Betsy Dollar, Olivia Dollar and Samuel Dixon.

Bobby was born November 30, 1947, in Louisville, to the late Darrell Dollar and Dorothy Price Dollar. He graduated from Louisville Academy and attended the University of Georgia and pursued his passion for music. Bobby retired from the Louisville Fire Department as a Lieutenant. He was a General Contractor and a member of Coleman Chapel Church. Mr. Dollar is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Butch Dollar.

Mr. Dollar is survived by his wife, Donna Ratchford Dollar; children, Bobby Dollar, Jr. (Kristie), Michael Dollar (Wendy) and Jennifer Dixon (Jason); grandchildren, Hank Dollar, Betsy Dollar, Blake Dollar, Kabe Bowen, Jacob Dixon, Daniel Dixon, Olivia Dollar, Levi Dixon and Samuel Dixon; sister, Betty Gilmore (Harry); and sister-in-law, Julie Dollar.

Memorials may be made to: Coleman Chapel Church, 4417 Greens Old Mill Road, Wadley, GA 30477.

Arrangements were by Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory of Swainsboro.
