June 27
Officers were dispatched to West Street in reference to subjects smoking drugs on complainant’s backyard. Upon arrival, c/p told officers where subjects were, and one came out and said there was nothing going on. The subject started yelling at officers and was arrested for disorderly conduct.
June 28
Officer was dispatched to Enterprise Street in reference to a female caller stating that her ex-boyfriend was at her residence and she wanted him gone. Offender was criminally trespassed from the property.
Officer was dispatched to South Main Street in reference to a vehicle that was stolen while being worked on. The owner of the vehicle stated that his girlfriend was the one that took the vehicle. Offender was located and arrested.
Officer responded South Main Street in reference to a report. C/p stated that they helped offender get a copy of his birth certificate and social security card and also paid for a room for him to stay in. They stated that he texted them that morning and was very irate and threatened them.
Officer was dispatched to South Main Street in reference to a damage to vehicle report. Offender was located and a report was made.
Officer was dispatched to West Moring Street in reference to a fight that occurred, and the offender left the scene in an unknown vehicle. The victim stated that the offender threw a bottle at him after he told him good afternoon and began hitting him and fled the scene.
June 29
Officer was dispatched to Kite Road in reference to a burglary that already occurred. C/p stated that he found the front door forced open when he arrived along with one of the safes being forced open.
Officer responded to South Main Street in reference to a complaint of vehicle damage. C/p stated that while his vehicle was parked in a parking space, it was struck by another vehicle, and the other vehicle fled the scene.
Officer was responding to a 911 call on Curtis Street in reference to a fallen elderly woman in need of assistance. The woman was located on the couch but was unable to stand.
Emanuel County 911 dispatched officers to respond to a report of a possible female being assaulted. Upon arrival, all parties stated that there was no assault, and no one had any visible injuries. Officer discovered both parties had warrants and they were placed under arrest.
Officer responded to Stevens Drive in reference to a report of battery that had just occurred. Victim had visible marks on her face along with scratches on her neck. Warrants were taken on offender for simple battery.
Officer response to Allen Street in reference to a report of a dispute between brothers. C/p stated that he and his brother had gotten into an altercation and that when he called 911 his brother ran off.
Officer was dispatched to North Green Street in reference to a subject feeling suicidal. Subject had left the area and the Sheriff’s Office was notified to be on the lookout for him.
June 30
Officer responded to North Main Street in reference to a male subject being struck by another male subject. C/p stated that the offender approached him and struck him in the face and departed the area. Offender was located and arrested.
Officers responded to Old Nunez Road in reference to a woman being bitten by a dog. Victim stated that she walked next door and her neighbor’s dog bit her.
July 1
Emanuel County 911 dispatched officers to Lee Street in reference to a complaint stating that some individuals had threatened to ‘jump” complainant. Citations were issued.
Victim came to SPD to report a burglary that occurred at her former residence located on McLeod Bridge Road.
Officer observed a vehicle stop in the center turning lane on South Main Street and conducted a traffic stop. Offender was found to be a convicted felon and had a firearm in his possession. Offender was arrested.
July 2
Officer took a walk in report at SPD. C/p stated that offender will not leave her alone. Officer attempted to locate offender, and she was not found.
Officer took a walk in report at SPD. C/p stated that they found keys to a vehicle while cleaning up at Harmon Park.
Officer was dispatched to West Church Street in reference to a call about the someone entering c/p’s apartment and damaging her wall.
Two vehicles pulled beside officer on North Main Street and told him that there were two subjects in the middle of the road fighting. One of the offenders was located and stated that they were just arguing. The other offender was later located and stated that nothing happened, but offender had been hitting her for a while.
July 3
Officer responded to the area of Williams Street in reference to a report that a man hit complainant’s driver side window of her vehicle while she was parked on the side of the road. Offender was not located.
Officer was dispatched to Allen Street in reference to a possible domestic disturbance. Dispatched advised that c/p was scared her father was going to hit her. Offender stated that his daughter was supposed to pay him rent, but only gave him half of the agreed amount, despite being able to purchase personal items for herself.
Officer responded to North Coleman Street in reference to a report of an unruly juvenile. C/p stated that her son refused to do as he is told.
Officer was dispatched to South Main Street in reference to the caller stating that someone hit her car but was no longer on scene.
Officer saw headlights on East Main Street and noticed two males leaning over a trailer. One of them became loud and started cussing at the officer and stated that he was a deputy in a different county. Officer checked his information and the county he named did not have his name listed as a deputy. He then stated that he was a jailer and that turned out to be false as well. Offender got in his truck and left the scene.
Officer was dispatched to South Central Street in reference to c/p stating that offender was harassing him.
