Miss Robyn Gaye Chester, 49, of Statesboro passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at her residence. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hardin officiating. Interment followed at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. Robyn was born in Winter Park, Florida on October 7, 1975, to Roy Dell “Ox” Chester and Linda Higgins Chester. She was a 1993 graduate of Swainsboro High School and received her paralegal certification from the University of Georgia. She was employed with several law offices and had recently left employment with the sheriff’s office to work with the Screven County Magistrate’s office. She loved her work with Judge Tony Monte. Robyn’s loves included her animals, first Prissy, her long-time best friend, and then twin Maltese pups and a French bulldog. She loved talking about her dad, who she lost in 2007. Robin loved the Lord. She was unique, not a crowd-follower. She loved the ocean, sitting on the beach and listening to music. She liked keeping up with friends on Facebook and watching TV. She did not like to cook and had Door Dash on “speed-dial.” Robyn loved spending time with her mom and brother. She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Betty Joyce Mountjoy and Joe Higgins; paternal grandparents, Ellison Chester and Eloise Chester. Robyn is survived by her mother, Linda Chester of Twin City; brother, Roy Chester, Jr. of Twin City; aunt, Angela Fore of Sanford, Florida; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of the arrangements.
