Public Notice of Intent

This is a public notice regarding the intent to petition for a decree to change the name on the deed of the property located at 670 Martin Road, Twin City, GA 30471. The current name on the deed reflects previous owners Tyree and Mollie Beasley, who are now deceased. The petition will seek to transfer the deed to their daughter, Debra Beasley, who currently resides at the property.

The petition is set to be filed on December 01, 2025, at the Emanuel County Probate Court. This public announcement serves to ensure that all parties are aware of the proceedings.

Debra Beasley has made efforts to inform all living siblings and the children of deceased siblings about this intent. Notifications were made through phone, text, and email. Additionally, all parties involved received a Disclaimer of Inheritance Document and were asked to sign and notarize the disclaimer document within 7-10 business days of receipt.

It is important to note that any party who does not return the disclaimer must file a petition to oppose the deed name change through the Emanuel County Probate Court. Failure to do so will result in the automatic forfeiture of their inheritance if a petition is not filed prior to December 01, 2025. For any inquiries, please contact Debra Beasley at [email protected].
