In the early morning hours of Friday, November 7, 2025, Robert “Bob” Jones, a cherished husband and friend to all, passed with the loving presence of his wife by his side. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held Monday, November 10, at 5 p.m. at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel in Chesterfield, South Carolina, officiated by Hank Griffin. Prior to the service, the family invited all attendees to join them on the front lawn of the funeral home for a dove release ceremony in memory of Bob. A time of visitation immediately followed the service.

Bob was born September 15, 1954, in Pottsville, PA, to the late Robert, Sr. and Carol Jones. He pursued his education at York Technical College in York, SC, where he earned an associate degree in architecture and dedicated many years of his career to quality control, ultimately retiring as Plant Manager of Carolina Apparel Group in Wadesboro, NC. Bob took great pride in his work and the legacy he built during his career. He had a love for adventure, often seen riding his beloved 2003 special edition Harley Davidson motorcycle, and also enjoyed woodworking. Additionally, time spent on camping trips were among his most treasured memories.

Mr. Jones is deeply missed and will forever be loved by his wife, Brenda Jones; special daughter, Sonya Hall of Vidalia; daughters, Bonnie Jones (Heath) Palmer and Kristi Jones, both of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Brendan Stokes, Markevious Mincey, Kason Palmer and Kaylee Palmer; great-granddaughter, Alani Stokes; siblings, Nancy Jones (Don) Shires, Alan David (Cindy) Jones, Sr. and Kevin Dean Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Grateful acknowledgement is expressed for friends who are more like family that include Maria Huckabee, Brenda Boswell and Will Hargrove. Your friendship and support, especially during this time, are much appreciated.

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
