Mrs. Ethel Helen Perkins, age 76, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2025, at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 12, at 2 p.m. at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Larry Perkins officiating. Pallbearers will be family members.

Ethel was born August 31, 1949, in Savannah, to the late Mellie Jackson Butler and Ethel Beck Butler. She enjoyed baking, spending time with her family and gardening. Ethel also liked tending to the livestock. Mrs. Perkins is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eulie Guy Perkins; and sister, Sarah Alice Hinken Sikes.

Mer. Perkins is survived by her sons, Jonathan Perkins (Connie) of Guyton and Eric Perkins of Springfield; daughter, Helen Thrasher (Richard) of Springfield; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
