Founded on November 10, 1900, Citizens Bank of Swainsboro, Inc. has proudly served its community for 125 years. From its roots in Swainsboro, the bank has expanded into neighboring markets—Dublin, via Citizens Bank of Laurens County, and Statesboro, via Bulloch First—while remaining true to its mission as a genuine community bank. Today, it manages over $410 million in total assets and continues to grow and invest back into the community.

To commemorate this remarkable milestone, the bank hosted a celebration at its downtown Swainsboro office, expressing gratitude to customers and the community with refreshments, giveaways, and heartfelt appreciation. President and CEO Zac Frye shared, “Reaching 125 years is a tremendous achievement for any business. We deeply value every customer and employee, past and present, who has contributed to our success. Our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve is unwavering—we strive every day to make them better places to live, work, and raise families.”
