Swainsboro High School hosted CTAE Night for 8th graders to help them choose which pathways to pursue as they move up the trail next year. Students from the class of 2030 had the opportunity to learn about the various pathways offered. They toured the well-equipped labs, heard from teachers, and spoke with current students about our award-winning CTSOs (FBLA, FFA, TSA and FCCLA). Details about EDGE College and Career Academy were also shared. This information helped excite students about future dual enrollment opportunities and how they can earn valuable career skills. To end the evening, FCCLA and Culinary students, under the direction of Kelli Mendieta, prepared a delicious meal of chili and cornbread for the guests and student volunteers.
