The Brier Creek Chapter held its monthly meeting Thursday night, November 6, at Walls Diner at 6:30 p.m. With President Lee Herron presiding, they had 16 in attendance. The speaker for the evening, Senior Vice President Bill Tankersley, presented his program on “A Horse named Independence”. Bill is a member of the Little Rivers Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution in Thomson. He and his wife live in Evans.
President Lee presented the National Society’s President General’s Education Outreach streamer and certificate to the Sgt-at-Arms Don Bazemore for the chapter. Dess Smith and Steve Burke of the Wiregrass Chapter attended the Brier Creek meeting.
