Jimmy Lee Kirkland, age 60, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, December 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Philip Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Kirkland officiating and Pastor Walter Herrington presiding.

Jimmy was born January 17, 1965, to the late Arthus and Tressie Kirkland. He was a farmer and logger most of his life. Jimmy enjoyed gardening and feeding his chickens, but most of all, he enjoyed being a father and PaPa. Jimmy really enjoyed spending time with his family and making everyone laugh. Mr. Kirkland is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Kirkland; and one other sibling.

Mr. Kirkland lease to cherish his memories with his daughters, KeAsia Kirkland of Midville and Dakeisha Watson of Orlando, FL; sons, Dominique Kirkland and Dontavio Watson, both of Orlando, FL; special friends, Rosie Williamsl brothers, Arthur (Adline) Kirkland III, Kelvin Kirkland, Donelle Kirkland and Eugene (April) Kirkland, all of Swainsboro; sisters, Ida Mae (Jerry) McMillan of Lexsy, Geneva Johnson of Midville, Martha Hooks, Linda (Leon) Wilcher and Dena Kirkland, all of Swainsboro, Carolyn Sutton of Stillmore, Tressie Hodge and Julie (Victor) Holland, both of Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
