Theresa Johnson, age 60, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Donaldsonville Hospital in Donaldsonville. Graveside Services will be Wednesday, January 7, at 11:30 a.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Chad Kennison officiating.
Theresa was born November 5, 1965, in Lynwood, California, to the late Lucian Elsie Stapleton and Pamela Jean Dukes Stapleton. She had a contagious smile and was soft-spoken, sweet-natured and very encouraging to everyone. Theresa loved to swim, read and was always ready for a walk. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Charles Alvin Watson Jr., Lisa Darlene Stapleton, Pamela Yvonne Stapleton and James Joseph Stapleton.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Johnson; daughter, Holly Ann Johnson; siblings, Lynn Stapleton, Ronald “Sam” Stapleton and Deborah Rose Stapleton; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
