On Thursday, January 8, while guys under Court Order were doing community service picking up trash on the side of the road, they noticed a fire dangerously close to a residence and immediately jumped into action by putting the fire out with a garden hose. The homeowner heard the commotion and went outside to find the heroic citizens distinguishing the fire. He admitted to having started the fire earlier in the day, but thought it was fully extinguished when he left it unattended. If those good citizens had not jumped into action to put the fire out, it could have caught the house on fire. The homeowner will forever be grateful for these heroic citizens!
