Jacob Blake Wilkerson, age 21, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at his residence in East Dublin surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services were held Friday, January 16, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Wilson officiating. Interment followed at Moxley Cemetery in Swainsboro. Visitation was held Thursday, January 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home
Pallbearers were Tae Dobson, Caleb Smith, Jacob Smith, Cam Mixon, Tyler Surrency, Kagan Surrency, Jake Mills, John Sugar, Jack Thigpen, Devon Tanner and Jay Kight.
Jacob Blake Wilkerson, beloved son of Jan Corbin and Jerry Wilkerson, was born September 4, 2004, in Swainsboro. He attended Swainsboro High School alongside lifelong friends, Tae Dobson, Devin Tanner and Tyler Surrency. Blake later attended Swainsboro Technical College and was employed by Interfor as a forklift operator. He was a member of His Truth Church and New Beginnings in Christ. Blake enjoyed being with his friends and family. He spent a lot of his time making TikToks, spinning wheels and playing cards. Blake was known for his big heart, contagious smile and his hard work ethic. He was loved by all that knew him and touched everyone whose path he crossed. Blake loved God and was a faithful Christian. Mr. Wilkerson is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bud and Juanita Moxley; and paternal grandparents, Tolly Wilkerson and Wanda Graham.
Mr. Wilkerson is survived by his mother and her partner, Jan Corbin (Richard Miller); father, Jerry Wilkerson; half-brother, Kyle Wilkerson; several cousins, aunts, uncles and many dear friends.
