Cubie Whigham, Jr., age 76, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 8, 2026. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, January 311 at 12 p.m. at Mosley’s Funeral Home with Minister Gladys Whicker presiding.

Cubie was born March 30, 1949, in Jefferson County, to the late Pearline McGruder and Cubert Whigham, Sr. He attributed his life to the fact that he was a child of God to God be the glory great things He has done. Cubie fought a good fight, kept his faith and finished his course. Mr. Whigham is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Reather Mae Seays.

Mr. Whigham leaves his memories with his sisters, Annie Bell (LC) Lester of Boynton Beach, FL and Mary Hart of Miami, FL; brother-in-law, Clinton Seays of Deerfield, FL; special cousins, Izell McGruder, Jr. and Otis Williams; devoted friend, Lillie Mae Floyd; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
