Mr. Andrew Bradley “Andy” Johnson, 38, of Adrian, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 26, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Elder De Hagan officiating, assisted by Reverend Mark Hardin. Interment followed in Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Garfield. Family received friends Friday, July 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Sam English, Jared Sammons, Justin Hackle, Justin Johnson, Lee Bell, Jeremiah Johnson, Ken Ricks and Danny Sheperd. Honorary pallbearers were the ECI Class of 2005 and his trucking friends.

Andy was born November 21, 1986, in Statesboro, to Gary Daniel Johnson and Dianne Johnson.

He was raised in Glenville and later moved to Swainsboro and graduated from Emanuel County Institute in 2005. Just before graduation, Andy met Jessica after senior prom. They married in 2011 and had two beautiful boys, Joshua and Drew. Andy was the owner of J & D Johnson Services trucking company and County Line Feed & Market in Adrian. He was an avid hunter and loved being outdoors. Andy inherited his love for music from his daddy and was blessed with a beautiful voice. He loved his boys, his family, his friends, customers and community dearly, and never met a stranger. Andy’s absence has left a hole in our hearts that will never be healed. Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his father; sister, Melissa Ann Johnson; maternal grandparents, Martha and Jack Campbell and Ben Edward Johnson; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Ruth Clifton Johnson and Jackie Curl.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his mother, Dianne Johnson of Twin City; wife, Jessica Sammons Johnson; sons, Joshua Daniel Johnson and Andrew Lynn “Drew” Johnson, all of Adrian; sister, Jessica Johnson English (Sam) of Swainsboro; nieces and nephew, Claire English, Emma English and Jase English, all of Swainsboro; mother-in-law, Regis Sammons of Adrian; father-in-law, Jeff Sammons (Lisa) of Nunez; brother-in-law, Jared Sammons of Washington, DC; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
