Ms. Angela Marie Cowart, age 59, formerly of Adrian, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in Savannah, after an extended illness. A family memorial service will be held in Savannah on August 3.

Angela was born October 13, 1964, in Emanuel County, to Brenda Sue Webb and the late Jimmy Lewis Grant. She grew up in Adrian where she attended Adrian High School. Angela went on to train as a respiratory therapist and provided aid to many patients utilizing her training and caring nature. Later in life, she worked as a manager for Goodwill of Southeast Georgia where she was known for her hard work and dedication. Angela was an avid fisherman and was known to out fish even the best outdoorsmen. Her love for fishing and Coastal Georgia may have only been outshone by her love for her family and friends. In addition to her father, Ms. Cowart is preceded in death by her sister, Tamela Grant; paternal grandparents, John Henry and Edna Rea McGee Grant; and maternal grandparents, Clyde and Niza Hall Stephens.

Survivors include her mother, Brenda Webb of Adrian; children, Mickey Youmans, Chase (Taylor) Cowart and Chad (Brittany) Cowart; sister, Lea Hogan (Jack) of Savannah; brother, Johnny Myles Webb (Rachel) of Pooler; grandson, Wilder; and several nieces and nephews with whom she loved

and cherished any time spent.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Association for Frontotemporal Dementia.
