Annie Mae Armstrong, age 63, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, May 24, at 11 a.m. at St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor James Love, Sr. presiding and Eulogist Rev. Jerry Armstrong, Jr.

Annie, affectionately known as “Ann”, was born August, 5, 1961, in Macon, to the late Jerry and Willie Mae Armstrong. She was well known for her vibrant spirit and touched the lives of those around her. Ann was employed for many years at Capro Manufacturing, then later devoted herself to her church, St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Armstrong is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Essie Mae Daniels Twyne.

Mrs. Armstrong is survived by her husband, Arthur Simmons of Swainsboro; son, Darrell (Lashanda) Ford of Swainsboro; granddaughter, Yomenica Ford of Augusta; great-granddaughter, Ke’yonni Kelsey of Augusta; sisters, Geraldine (Tommy) Giles and Sabrina Armstrong (Tony Woods), both of Swainsboro; brothers, Jerry Armstrong, Jr. (Linda) of Soperton and Jerry Armstrong (Susan) of Milledgeville; best friend/sister, Valerie Moses of Swainsboro; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Ann will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
