Mrs. Barbara Jean Robinson, 75, passed away Thursday evening, May 22, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family while under care of Pruitt Hospice. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 28, at 2 p.m. at the Midville Baptist Church with Rev. Daryl Cox officiating. Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Kirkland, Gary Williams, Wendy Underwood, Howie Miller, Wallace Moore and Dennis Kirkland.

Barbara was born October 5, 1949, to the late Floyd Parks, Sr. and Myrtis Thigpen Adams, She was a lab technician for many years at Emanuel County Medical Center, and was a member of the Midville Baptist Church. Mrs. Robinson is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Nancy (Ron) Baker, Florretta (H.T) Clifton and Floyd, Jr. (Barbara) Adams.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, John Thomas “Tommy” Robinson of Midville; children, Jamie (Tabatha) Bennett of Garfield, Bess Bennett of Summertown and Alyssa (Brian) Fowler of Douglasville; grandchildren, Tristan Bennett, Abby Bennett, Braydon Lanier, Shawn (Michelle) Fowler, Gage Fowler and Seth Fowler; two great-grandchildren, Kenerly James and Daniel James; siblings, Larry (Cheryl) Adams, Mike (Terri) Adams and David (Paula) Adams, all of Millen; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
