Emanuel Medical Center announced their employee of 2025…Kathie Barton. Kathie has been a faithful volunteer for many years at the hospital. She spends a lot of her time visiting with the patients of the hospital and each resident of the nursing home. There are days when you’ll find her tending the gift shop as well. Most people at the hospital know her as “The Candy Lady”. You won’t find her without a little something to share with everyone, but most of all, she shares her heart.
