Mr. Bobby Paul McDonald, 71, of Twin City, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 26, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Price officiating. Interment followed at McDonald Family Cemetery. Family received friends Friday, April 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Brandon Slater, Wesley Wiggins, Chandler Wiggins, Casey Lovelady, Wesley Miller and Gabe Hardy.

Bobby was born June 26, 1953, in Pikeville, TN, to the late John Thomas McDonald and Naomi Edington McDonald. He was a diesel mechanic, and a jokester – he loved to tell jokes. Bobby never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing and traveling to Tennessee to see his family. Bobby loved his fur baby, Cookie. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. McDonald is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, Cynthia McDonald of Twin City; sons, Bobby Clyde McDonald (Carrie) of Spring City, TN, Brian Bird (Tonya) and Casey Bird (Jessica) both of Twin City; daughter, April Miller of Spring City, TN; brothers, Joe McDonald (Dorothy) of Dunlop, TN and Marion McDonald of Dayton, TN; sisters, Louise McDonald of Spring City, TN and Susan Stinnett (Jackie) of Dayton, TN; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
