Brier Creek Artillery attend Stephen Day Grave Marking

The Brier Creek Artillery traveled to Evans to participate in the Stephen Day Grave Marking event sponsored by the William Few Chapters and the Washington Wilkes Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution on Saturday August 2. The event was held at the Evans Market next to Columbia County Performing Arts Center to honor the memory of Revolutionary War Veteran Stephen Day and to celebrate a new memorial marker being placed at his gravesite. There were about 225 in attendance at the event.
