On Sunday, November 15, the Brier Creek Artillery consisting of six cannons and seven crew members traveled to North Augusta, SC to attend the Charles Hammond House 250th Anniversary Celebration (dated back to Revolutionary War period). Those Skunkers were Commander Steve Burke, Lee Herron, Don Bazemore, Alton McCloud, Bernard Martin, Tommy Chappell and Ted Walker. Each cannon fired three rounds in a three-round volley, and the Travelin Trunk Display was presented to over 500 visitors to the event.
