On February 1, Compatriots Tommy Christopher, Steve Burke and John Fitzner traveled to the Brier Creek Battlefield to receive the concrete for the Battlefield entrance sign and the Memorial U.S. Flagpole socket. The front entrance sign should be erected by the 245th Anni-versary Brier Creek Battlefield event on Saturday, March 2, and also the U.S. Flagpole should be installed. Pavers for the U.S. Flag site are still available. They are the 4″ x 8″ and 8″ x 16″ size. If you want to purchase a paver for you, your family, ancestor, business, veteran, or Revolutionary War Patriot, please contact the Brier Creek Revolutionary War Battlefield Asso-ciation Treasurer Sherry Christopher at 229-315-0960 or 478-299-8135.
